It's horribly dry on the Veluwe in the Netherlands where I've got my vegetable-garden. It's tragic really. I can't do anything and I'm hoping for a lot of rain.

I enjoy all the videos very much because the advice is practical and involves only the amount of intervention needed, unlike videos that get me all dizzy turning earth upside down and adding any powder the pharma industry invents! Gardening is a lot about instinct, prevention, care and dealing with the occasional surprises 🙂

I've been trying coffee grounds to detour slugs. We shall see. If it works they are plentiful. Funny I have no problem with leek pests but the beets and chard get worms inside the leaves so I have to cover. j in utah p.s. I just harvested my first scallions! Wow so beautiful, I will plant many next year
